Lake Ashi
Lake Ashi is a volcanic lake located in Mount Hakone. It
was formed approximately three thousand years ago and is
the largest lake in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a very
famous tourist spot and a famous place to see Mount Fuji
in the distance.
The red torii standing on Lake Ashi is the landmark of
Hakone Shrine Lake Torii. Together with the outline of
Fuji, it is reflected on the lake.It is difficult to
find better words to describe it except for the stunning
scenery.

Hakone Pirate Ship
The sightseeing boat on Lake Ashi, the Pirate Boat is
definitely the most special choice.From Motohakone
staion to Togendai station.Time is about 25 minutes.
Hakone Ropeway: Togendai station to Owakudani route, on
the way you can the beautiful Mount Fuji.

Owakudani
Owakudani is located in Hakone City at the southeast
corner of Mount Fuji. It is a famous tourist attraction
in Hakone. The remains of a crater formed by a massive
volcanic eruption on the north side of Mt. Kamiyama at
the end of the Hakone volcanic activity two years ago.
Most of the spring water in Owakudani is poisonous, so
it is also called the "Great Hell". until1876 it was
renamed Owakudani when Emperor Meiji visited there. The
famous specialty of Owakudani is the black spring egg.
In ancient times, it was said that eating one can extend
your life 7 years.
